We started with greeting cards...
They don't always speak to people in a meaningful way. Sympathy cards, in particular, often miss the mark when it comes to offering real support, and we knew people deserved more. Our cards are made to be kept, combining meaningful words with beautiful designs that people will want to frame and display.
Over time, we expanded into home decor after customers started buying our cards for themselves to display in their homes. Now, we offer both prints and handcrafted wooden pieces, so people can bring those same encouraging messages into their everyday spaces.
Today, we’re proud to offer a collection of products—greeting cards, prints, and wooden decor—that help people receive love, hope, and encouragement.
Whether you’re sending a card to someone special or adding a meaningful piece to your home, we consider it a privilege to be part of your journey and your community.

Lizzie Ransinghe, Creative Director
Lizzie started The Lovely Letter Co. after losing her sister unexpectedly. In the midst of her grief, she found herself turning to calligraphy, using it to write out prayers and truths that held deep meaning for her. Over time, she realized that the art she was creating wasn’t just meant for herself—it was something to be shared with others. In her free time, Lizzie enjoys reading, cooking, drinking coffee and traveling with her husband (their most recent travels being to Senegal)

Sheran Ranasinghe, Creative Operations
Sheran first got involved with The Lovely Letter Co. when he built the market display, not knowing it would lead to his role as the woodworking and engraving talent behind their decor pieces. A musician and creative at heart, he also hosts a podcast that inspires others to live authentically. Outside of work, you’ll find him making music, editing videos, or spending time with their dog, Asha, and a lively group of visiting pups as a dog sitter.

Selah Rush, Intern
Selah recently joined The Lovely Letter Co., bringing a passion for marketing and design. Working with Lizzie, she’s learning the ropes of social media and digital marketing to help grow the brand’s reach. A high school senior, Selah loves theater, reading, and has dreams of becoming a high school English teacher. She’s looking forward to attending Ashland University in 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys pumpkin chai and relaxing in her yellow-painted room, inspired by her favorite color.
