Behind the Scenes of The Lovely Letter Co. Rebrand
Share
You guys, it’s finally here—The next chapter of The Lovely Letter Co.! After 6 months of dreaming, designing, and reimagining, I’m so excited to share our new branding and revamped website with you. This wasn’t part of my plans for 2024, but sometimes the most meaningful projects happen when you least expect them.
As I transitioned into running The Lovely Letter Co. full-time, I realized our branding and website didn’t fully reflect who we are or what we stand for. This brand isn’t just about beautiful stationery—it’s about connection. It’s about celebrating the best moments and supporting others through the hardest ones. I knew we could do better.
We started with the logo, drawing inspiration from the timeless charm of a postage stamp—a classic symbol of connection. To make it our own, I paired it with the a floral element similar to our original design and added colors I found myself constantly pinning on Pinterest. As it turns out, those colors held deeper meaning than I realized: pink for compassion, teal for emotional healing, and yellow for joy. Together, all these elements work perfectly to reflect the heart of The Lovely Letter Co.

With the branding coming together, I knew we needed photos that could bring it to life. That’s where Naomi Devi came in. You guys—Naomi is the real deal. She has this incredible ability to capture a vision perfectly while making everyone feel completely at ease.
We planned a cozy photoshoot at an Airbnb and invited some of my favorite people to join us. But, as life would have it, Cleveland threw us a curveball. Tornadoes swept through the area the week of the shoot, and the Airbnb we originally booked lost power.
After hours of last-minute scrambling, I found a dreamy pink space in Ohio City (link here!) that had everything we needed—styled corners, a coffee nook, and the perfect vibe. The hosts were amazing, and I couldn’t have been more grateful.
When the night finally arrived, everything fell into place. The weather was cool and clear, Naomi worked her magic, and my girls brought so much energy and creativity. It wasn’t just a photoshoot; it was a celebration of everything The Lovely Letter Co. stands for.
Honestly, I’ll never forget that night. It reminded me why I started this business in the first place: to create something meaningful and share it with others.
Once the photos were ready, I turned to the website. My goal was to create a site that felt vibrant, interactive, and more inviting—a space where you could easily find what you need while also getting a sense of who we are.
Here’s the thing—I couldn’t afford a professional web designer, so I DIY’d it. Every detail, from clickable photos to hand-drawn elements, was the result of late nights and a lot of learning along the way. My hope is that the site feels welcoming, easy to use, and shares the heart of this little company.
Looking back, this rebrand has been more than just a project. It’s reminded me why I started this business in the first place: to create meaningful connections and share beauty in ways that matter.
To celebrate this milestone, I’m giving away something special: the first 5 customers to place an order on the new site will receive a FREE greeting card as a thank-you for being part of this journey. Your support has meant the world to me.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for being part of The Lovely Letter Co. I hope you love the new look as much as I do, and I can’t wait to hear what you think.
