I'm not sure if you've noticed, but it's so easy to find a card for the big, fun stuff — birthdays, holidays, weddings, you know, the happy occasions. And yet there are so many other card-worthy moments that somehow get lost.

Because I'm passionate about cards and all they can do for people, I present to you 50 moments worth a card this year.

Moments of Grief & Struggle

1. They lost someone, and you don't know what to say (but you want them to know you're thinking of them.)
2. It's been six months since the funeral, and everyone else has stopped checking in.
3. They're going through a diagnosis. (Theirs or someone they love)
4. They experienced a pregnancy or infant loss (a kind of grief people don't always know how to talk about)
5. A pet passed away, and it hurts more than people expect it to.
6. Their engagement or relationship ended before it was supposed to.
7. A promotion, opportunity, or dream fell through.
8. They're caregiving for someone, and no one's asked how they're doing.

A Card Can Do More Than You Think

It can be the encouragement someone needed to get through a hard moment they didn't think they could get through. It might even be something they reach for time and time again after you sent it... a reminder to keep going because they weren't forgotten.

All of that because on a random Tuesday, they received a card they weren't expecting.
