Meet Lo

Lo is a multi-passionate creator who openly shares her life's journeys and inspirations with others. She loves the Lord, is a go-getter and is always willing to step out in faith with her gifts—aka, she's unstoppable. Our paths crossed while she was in the midst of her latest endeavor: writing a 40-day devotional book.

Lo's devotional, Called to Good Works: A 40 Day Devotional, explores the biblical meaning of work. It was inspired by Ephesians 2:10 - For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do - during a time when Lo was wrestling with her own sense of purpose and calling. This scripture prompted Lo's curiosity to explore the relationship between scripture and work prompting a journey toward renewing her understanding of both herself and God. Called to Good Works invites readers into that same experience provoking thought and exploration—Spoiler alert: it's more profound than you might think! And it might just change your life (seriously).

I don't know if you can relate but figuring out your calling and career can be the most overwhelming experience. There's just so much pressure in making these decisions, whether your 20 or 50.   I'm thankful the Lord prompted Lo to create this devotional and for her obedience in bringing it to life. I've been encouraged and challenged by the words that fill these pages and I'm sure you'll find the same.

Because every good book needs a bookmark, Lo and I collaborated to make that happen. She approached me wanting a design that would reflect her book and provide value to her readers. After a quick brainstorming session, we came up with this design, hoping it would remind every reader to embrace their unique callings.

I think my favorite thing about this design is the prayer that is featured on the back. It's so practical, yet so encouraging. It truly captures the essence of what the devotional is all about
