Calligraphy is where my creative journey began. Long before greeting cards and illustrations, it was the thing that first showed me I was a creative. And my partnership with Grace CMA Church in Cleveland, Ohio has been one of the places where I've gotten to return to that root.

A few years ago, their worship leader asked me to letter their annual vision onto chalkboards backstage. Those boards now cover an entire wall, seen every week by the volunteers, worship teams, and leaders who move through that space before stepping out to serve.

There's something meaningful about putting words on a wall that people will walk past hundreds of times reminding them of something true as they use their gifts to serve and inspire others.

That's really what this work has always been about - using creativity to mark moments, anchor people, and remind them of something true. I'm grateful for partnerships like these that allow me to show up the way I was made to, and to be a part of something bigger than myself.
